Chesta Davis is a dynamic singer, songwriter, musician, and performer whose passion is deeply rooted in gospel music. Born into a musical family and raised in the church, Chesta began developing his gifts at an early age and has since dedicated his life to using music to uplift, heal, and inspire others.

His professional musical journey began as a rapper with the group M & H Cats. In 2003, the group released the singles “Mental Motivation” and “National Wickedness” on the album Elements of the Soul through Eternal Flow Records. Chesta was later featured on “Spoken Word” from Hersey Coles’ project Broken, as well as “Been There, Done That” by Matt Dangelis.

As his career evolved, Chesta secured roles as praise and worship leader and musical director for several churches, including Revelation Baptist Church, First African Baptist Church of Philadelphia, and First Baptist Church of Crestmont. These experiences strengthened his ability to lead musicians, develop vocalists, and create meaningful worship experiences.

Chesta’s musical gifts have taken him beyond the United States to international stages in Pretoria, South Africa; Eswatini; and Poland, where he performed alongside the legendary John Tillery.

In late 2019, Chesta founded Chesta Davis Music Group with a vision to unite like-minded artists and create the ultimate gospel and inspirational music collaboration. Based in Philadelphia, CDMG performs locally and tours in other markets while building a network of gifted artists who share a commitment to excellent, uplifting music.

A genuine lover of music, production, performance, and people, Chesta is known for his energetic stage presence and his ability to connect with audiences. He is also passionate about teaching artists the importance of stage presence, preparation, and performance. Whether leading worship, producing music, mentoring performers, or commanding the stage, Chesta Davis remains committed to creating experiences that inspire, encourage, and bring healing through music.
